1. What is the shelf-life of Alphagreen products?
For shredded products, the shelf-life varies between 3 and 6 days including the production date. The production and expiry dates are mentioned on the label. The products are stored in a refrigerated area with temperature between 1 and 4˚C. After opening, processed foods should retain their original quality for 1 or 2 days when refrigerated and sealed in a plastic or glass container.
2. How long do Alphagreen whole products stay fresh?
The shelf-life of Alphagreen whole products depends on storage conditions. When properly stored in a refrigerator, the products retain their color, flavor, and texture for an extended period.
3. Are Alphagreen products GMO-free? What is a GMO?
GMO stands for “Genetically Modified Organism.” The term refers to organisms whose genetic material (DNA) has been modified through the direct introduction of a gene from another organism in a laboratory, rather than through traditional plant-breeding methods. Alphagreen products contain no genetically modified organisms (GMOs).
4. How many calories are in a head of lettuce?
Lettuce contains very few calories because it has a high water content. It provides approximately 14 kcal per 100 g and around 9.1 g of fiber per 100 g. Lettuce is an important ingredient in a balanced and healthy diet.
5. Where can I find Alphagreen products?
Alphagreen raw products are available in most stores across Lebanon, with distribution covering all Lebanese regions. Ready-to-eat products can be purchased directly from Alphagreen.
